The great thing about living in SoCal is the long growing season, especially for the jasmine. mmmmm.
We have a few plants growing in our backyard, and the scent is heavenly! A small breeze comes by and carries the heady perfume right into the house.
A few of our neighbors also have jasmine growing in their yards, so as you're heading down my street, just roll your window down for a wonderful scent of spring!
My grandmother ALWAYS had a nightblooming jasmine just outside her window! Sun goes down, jasmine blooms, breeze picks it up and into the window. Everytime I smell jasmine, I think of my grandmother--your great-grandmother! She lived in Miami--long growing season also.
