Roses!

This Sunday is my husband's birthday.  So, we're throwing him a party!  Of course this means sprucing up the backyard.  

I love roses, but when I planned out the back yard, 10 years ago, roses just didn't make sense at the time.

I think partly, it was due to the expense of roses, and I was on a budget, big time!

But Kelly loves roses, I think most of all.  So, we have a pot on the patio that contains pretty pink tea roses.

The sun was not quite out (our June Gloom is continuing into July) so it's a perfect outdoor lighting situation.  

Out I went!
